AssetExplorer Cloud supports formulating, controlling, and managing legally-binding contracts with external parties. Contract management can be used in conjunction with service management and asset management. You can create contracts for your assets, software, or standalone contracts.
Essential Details Required in a Contract
- Cost Information - Specifies the cost associated with the contract.
- Support Details - Includes resources involved, supplies offered, overall support provided, and other support information.
- Support Details - Reflects the key metrics in the agreement.
- Associated Assets and Software - Includes assets and software covered under the contract.
Types of Contracts supported by AssetExplorer Cloud
Lease: Track details associated with any leasing equipment.
Maintenance: Track and avail maintenance related features of a product offered by the manufacturer/vendor.
Support: An agreement made by the vendor or manufacturer to provide technical support for a product or service. In some cases, support contracts also include maintenance and repair.
Warranty: Protective agreement against any defects in a product within a defined period. Warranty contract supports repair, replacement, performance optimization, and more for a product at an agreed price and within the agreed period.
