Mail Addresses

​In Mail Addresses, you can add, verify, and manage email addresses to use as the sender's email address or store group email addresses.

Add and Verify Email Addresses 

To add and verify custom emails,
  1. Go to Setup > Mail Settings > Mail Addresses.
  2. Click New Email and provide your preferred email address.

  1. For public domain email addresses, verify the email address by clicking the link received in your mail box.
  2. For custom domain email addresses, establish ownership of the domain using SPF and DKIM records. To do this, follow the steps below.
    1. For SPF verification, copy the SPF Record value and use it to create a TXT record under your domain's DNS configuration page.
    2. For DKIM verification, click View DKIM Configurations, copy the selector and public key values, and use them to configure your domain's DNS in the following formats:
      1. <selector>._domainkey for Host
      2. <publickey> for the TXT Value.  
  3. Verify the email address by clicking the link received in your mail box.

 
You can resend the email verification link by clicking Resend Verification Mail. 

The SPF values are common to all domains, whereas the DKIM values are domain-specific. 

The status column shows the verification status. 

For custom domain email addresses, a verification link will be sent only after the domain is verified using SPF and DKIM records. 

Deleting an Email Address  

To delete an email address, click the delete icon against the email address, and confirm your action. The delete option is disabled for an email address while in use.
