You can renew contracts in any status. While renewing, you can modify the contract details, parent/child contract association, support details, or notification settings. However, you cannot modify assets and software licenses associations while renewing a contract.
Role Required: SDAdmin, Users with Edit permissions
- Go to the contract details page.
- Navigate to the Renewals tab.
- Click the Renew Contract button. The button will be enabled only for expired contracts.
Alternatively, you can go to Actions > Renew Contract. This option will be listed only for expired contracts.
Fill out the necessary details in the displayed form and click Renew.
You can renew a contract only once.
